Well-known South African singer Makhadzi is making headlines after she took to Facebook to reveal that she is looking for love from a Zimbabwean.
The post has undoubtedly gained thousands of comments and reactions since it dropped. The post has over 12.4 thousand comments and 470 shares.
Over the years, Makhadzi has hogged headlines with her dramatic relationships. Makhadzi posted, “Ndirikunamata kuti ndione murume Mushona chaiye chaiye muzezuru akana Mhofu zvavo.” The Facebook post, which was made in Shona, can loosely be translated as ‘I’m praying for a Zimbabwean man.’

Against her posts, she joins a host of several South Africans who have gushed over Zimbabweans. After all, some South African A-listers have even found love in Zimbabweans, including actress and influencer Simz Ngema.
Several Zimbabweans were quick to flood her comments section, trying their luck. However, many were more than convinced she was joking, while others quickly put her love life into the mix.
This is not the first time Makhadzi has hogged headlines with her love life. Rumour mill has it that she is currently in a relationship with Mulaudzi. Their alleged affair has often thrust them into top trends since last year. Makhadzi and Lawrence Mulaudzi have been rumoured to be dating since last year.
According to ZiMoja, Mulaudzi allegedly sent his delegation to her family to ask for a hand in marriage. A close source to the couple confirmed their rumoured relationship with the media.
The close source said, “He popped the question around the festive season. He gave her a beautiful stone, but we doubt she is going to rock it in public or on the engagement ring finger to avoid being asked questions.”
Last year, Makhadzi took to Facebook to reveal she was ready to be in a romantic relationship after calling it quits with Master KG. The two called it quits more than twice.
Makhadzi and Master KG first broke up in 2020. Unconfirmed reports have it that they called it quits so that they can concentrate on their careers. The award-winning singer even confirmed their fallout with several cryptic posts. One of her posts, “So I must be single until when? Yhooo… Guys, I miss being in love.”
However, after their fallout, she made it known that they had managed to keep their working relationship.
