ANC Secretary General Ace Magashule has warned members against criticising the party’s leadership on social media.
Ekurhuleni Mayor Mzwandile Masina slammed President Cyril Ramaphosa’s decision to include Pravin Gordhan in his cabinet.
The comments come in the wake of Public Protector Busisiwe Mkhwebane’s adverse findings against him.
Masina said Gordhan’s appointment undermines the rule of law, a view shared by ANC NEC member Tony Yengeni.
Magashule says the party will engage with the two during a three-day Lekgotla in Irene.
“The issue of Masina and many others, we’re saying comrades this is the time stop making noise in public. Respect leadership.”
