Idols SA winner Luyolo Yiba moves to Jozi

In America, New York City is regarded as a concrete jungle where one is most likely to actualise their dreams.
In South Africa, Johannesburg is the mecca of bringing one’s dreams and goals to fruition, as it is known for providing endless possibilities. And the recently crowned Idols winner, Luyolo Yiba could definitely find resonance with this.
During a radio interview on YFM, the 24-year-old revealed that he has moved to the city of Johannesburg and is ready to bask in the hype and fame that he generated on Idols.
Originally, Luyolo Yiba is from King Williams Town in the Eastern Cape but the time has come for him to leave the place that has moulded him for this big moment.
“I thought of my family and my supporters, people who have supported me since day one. I know that some people only started voting for me in the finale, but I am still so grateful. I was just filled with gratitude and even now want to thank those who supported me.”
The community of King Williams Town have clearly shown unwavering love and support towards Luyolo, as they committed themselves to voting as much they could to ensure that one of their own clinches the winner’s title on Idols season 15.
Watch how his hometown came to a standstill after he was crowned.
