
Residents from a village in Lusikisiki in the Eastern Cape are concerned that the latest mass shooting in the province will be another unsolved case.
A family of five has been brutally murdered by unknown gunmen.
Police have yet to make any arrests.
However, community members suspect witchcraft as a motive for the shooting.
Two young children escaped unharmed during Monday’s deadly shooting.
The ward councillor here says that people are often killed when they are accused of witchcraft.
Eastern Cape police say they want people to come forward with any information that could lead to possible arrests.
