Lufthansa licence suspension lifted

The SA Civil Aviation Authority says Lufthansa Technik, which maintains Comair flights, did not implement the approved system. This led to the suspension of its maintenance licence, which has now been lifted.

Simon Segwabe, SACAA’s executive for Aviation Safety Operations explained, “we found that there was a common threat… the control with regards to qualities management systems together with safety systems were not adequately implemented.
