The SA Civil Aviation Authority has lifted the suspension of Lufthansa Technik’s maintenance licence.
The company is among those responsible for maintaining Comair’s fleet, which includes British Airways and Kulula planes.
The lifting of the suspension means Comair may once again use the company for some of its maintenance needs.
The suspension followed the grounding of Comair’s planes after safety concerns came to light.
