KwaZulu-Natal: At 15H17 Wednesday Afternoon, Netcare 911 responded to a pedestrian vehicle collision on the M41 Bridge crossing the N2 in Umhlanga, Durban.
Reports indicate that a group of children celebrating a friend’s birthday at a nearby shopping centre were on their way home when a 13-year-old female was struck down by a light motor vehicle, while crossing the road.
Medics assessed the scene and found that the patient showed no signs of life and was sadly declared deceased on the scene.
The other children were not injured.
