Police say one of their stations in Limpopo has come under attack.
It’s understood a group of armed suspects stormed the Malamulele police station late on Sunday night.
They held officers at gunpoint and even forced some of them into the back of a police van.
The criminals then made them crack open a weapon’s cache before seizing R5 rifles, 9mm pistols, shotguns, and ammunition.
When they left, they stopped off at a petrol station and robbed it as well.
Limpopo police have activated what they call a “72-hour activation plan” to try and catch the culprits.
