Amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic world-wide, Insta hottie Lethabo Molotsi has confessed ‘hakuna matata’. It looks she is living large in the Maldives, officially the Republic of Maldives, a small island nation in South Asia, located in the Arabian Sea of the Indian Ocean. It lies southwest of Sri Lanka and India, about 1,000 kilometers from the Asian continent.
We guess she was locked down over there because ever since the national lockdown on the 27th of March which saw the country closing its borders, maybe she hasn’t been able to make it to the motherland, Mzansi. On her recent post on Instagram, she captioned, ‘Hakuna matata 🦋’.
This is a Swahili language phrase from East Africa, meaning ‘no trouble’ or ‘no worries’ The phrase was used in the 1994 Disney animated film The Lion King and its 2019 remake, in which it is translated as ‘no worries’.
We just wish it stays that way, and she is not exposed to this deadly pandemic.
