Her father, Atholl Brett Sewnarain, revealed that she underwent emergency surgery to treat an extradural hematoma caused by the severe impact.
“Doctors had to perform an emergency craniotomy to remove the hematoma and stop the internal bleeding. It’s been a terrifying experience for us as a family,” he said.
