KwaZulu-Natal: At 19H04 Tuesday night, Netcare 911 responded to a collision on the M13 Fields Hill, Durban West region.
Reports indicate that the driver of an e-hailing taxi with one occupant on board lost control, resulting in a roll-over down an embankment.
On scene was Durban Metro Police Search and Rescue, Ethekwini Fire and Rescue, RescueTech and SAPS.
Medics assessed the scene and found that the driver had sustained moderate injuries.
The passenger had not sustained any injuries.
A rope and basket rescue system was set up in order to retrieve the driver from the bottom of the hill.
Once treated and stabilised, the patient was transported by private ambulance to the hospital for further care.
