Kodak Black Paid $1M For 6IX9INE Collab

Kodak Black and 6ix9ine have been riding a wave of success thanks to the release of their new collab — and Wack 100 has now revealed how much Kodak got paid for his efforts. It’s not clear who, exactly, it was in the bank, but it’s clear that the person is tied to Wack 100 in some official capacity.

On Friday (July 28), the mouthy manager and Hip Hop commentator took to Instagram to share a video of someone holding a $ 1 million certified check — made payable to Bill Kahan Kapri (Kodak Black’s legal name) — while standing at the counter of a First Horizon Bank.

“FOR ALL YALL THINKING @kodakblack is CAPP’n NAW IMA STAND IN A GAP FOR THOSE THAT STOOD FOR ME,” he wrote in the caption. “@mamaheliveagain2.0 THIS MAN SHOWED UP FOR WACK RESPECTFULLY GET OFF THAT BULLSHIT WITH HIM. WE’VE ALWAYS BEEN GOOD LETS KEEP IT THAT WAY.”

He continued: “AND SHOUT OUT TO @fumevapors MY NEW BUSINESS PARTNERS WHO DID EXACTLY WHAT WE AGREED TO… TO THE REST FOLLOW YOUR MIND AND DO WHAT’S BEST FOR YOU …. NOW SHUT IT TF UP THAT FIRST BAD WAS REAL 2 MORE CAME AFTER THIS !! #Valley #PFUNK #WESTUP”

The caption, too, took direct aim at Boosie Badazz, who has been dragging Kodak Black for his work with 6ix9ine.

“SOLD U SOUL FA A MILLION!!” he wrote on Twitter on Thursday (July 27). “I KNOW U A TAKE A DICK for 20 MILLION SMH U BEEN WEIRD!! U AINT HAS NEVER BEEN ANY STREET N-GGA U A CAPPER RAPPER LOL NICKELODEON ASS N-GGA LOL N-GGA SHOULDA STUCK THEY FINGER N YO ASSHOLE #KODAKTHESTALLION.”

Boosie’s diatribe, itself, was a direct response to Kodak Black’s previous attacks on him that same day, in which the Sniper Gang boss reposted a video on his Instagram Stories of content creator @ymbg.ray questioning Boosie’s behavior given his age. Kodak Black stitched in a scathing reply that read: “Poosie a [clown emoji].”

Back and forth between Boosie and Kodak aside, Wack 100 had previously implied that Kodak Black had received a handsome payday for “Shaka Laka.”

During a No Jumper interview last Sunday (July 23), Wack 100 explained how he orchestrated the joint single between the two artists. After getting paid “a whole lot of money,” Kodak finally met up with the record executive. They got past the technicalities of paperwork and then set a date and time to get the Floridian in the booth.

“It was supposed to be like 8 o’clock, I saw Kodak by 1 [am],” he said. “Some things worth waiting on. Kodak pulled up [with] his girl and his kid, with fire in his eyes.”

After having a “man-to-man” conversation with 6ix9ine, both artists recorded their parts for the song, which was subsequently released on Friday (July 21) with Yailin la Mas Viral.

“And then right before [Kodak] left, shit, we kept it gangsta,” Wack revealed. “He came in a black car and he left in a Rolls-Royce. Tossed him the keys, and tell him ‘go home’ … he put his baby seat in that bitch, he jumped in the driver’s seat, he put his driver in the passenger seat, his queen in the back and I jumped on the freeway with him.”
