Khaya Mthethwa on the pressure of being famous

Musician Khaya Mthethwa has opened up to his fans about the pressures of fame. The singer took to Twitter to get real about the high expectations that come with his celebrity status. In a series of tweets, that got some fans worried, the muso wrote about the pressures of being in the limelight.
“Sometimes I wish I could unfamous myself so I’m not under pressure to look successful! I want real success not the lookalike!” he tweeted.

It hurts Me to see public figures take their lives cause of how their actual lives have similar challenges to normal people around them – I guess it’s hard for us to reconcile how we are expected to be and who we really are in reality!
