Katy Perry has welcomed her first child with actor Orlando Bloom. The singer gave birth to a baby girl named Daisy Dove Bloom on August 26. The couple shared the news with UNICEF.
“We are floating with love and wonder from the safe and healthy arrival of our daughter,” they said in a statement. UNICEF shared a photo of the parents holding their little girl’s hand. In the photo, Perry has a daisy painted onto her visible fingernail.
Daisy is also the name of the song Perry released in May — the lead single of her upcoming sixth studio album.

While Perry is a first-time mum, Bloom is already father to nine-year-old Flynn, whom he shares with ex-wife Miranda Kerr. Perry and Bloom first announced they were expecting in the singer’s music video for her song for ‘Never Worn White’.
