Love is in the air for Katie Holmes. On Thursday, the Dawson’s Creek alum was seen flaunting some PDA with her new boyfriend, the Grammy-nominated musician Bobby Wooten III.
In the photos taken at Central Park, the couple walk hand-in-hand, share a kiss, and even meet up with Holmes’s mother, Kathy Holmes.
For the outing, the actress stayed casual in a white pair of baggy overalls layered over a white T-shirt and a teal cardigan. Meanwhile, Wooten coordinated in a light-blue button-up, a dark blue jacket, and navy trousers.
In addition to performing or recording with artists like Jennifer Lopez, Mac Miller, and Jennifer Hudson, Wooten is also an adjunct instructor at New York University’s Tisch School of Arts. He played bass for Broadway productions like Moulin Rouge! and holds production and composition credits for the likes of ESPN, Nike, Google, Reebok, and Kith.
Holmes was previously linked to Emilio Vitolo, a New York City-based celebrity chef. The former couple had made multiple public PDA-filled outings together over the course of 2020, but eventually confirmed their split in May 2021.
“It was amazing while it lasted, but they are at very different places in life. Emilio has no hard feelings. His life is in N.Y.C.,” an insider explained to People at the time. “Katie can’t wait to get back to work and to travel again.” Holmes’s rep confirmed the breakup to Us Weekly, adding that the exes “remain friends.
