Deputy Chief Justice Raymond Zondo has laid down the law. He has set aside dates for former president Jacob Zuma to appear again before the State Capture Inquiry.
Zondo says the dates of 16 to 20 November have been determined for Zuma’s appearance.
“This commission does not negotiate dates with witnesses. The commission fixes the dates and people who are supposed to appear. If they have good grounds for not appearing, then they make an application to show they have good grounds. We will not negotiate dates with witnesses.
The former president was to appear before the state capture inquiry earlier this month.
