Billions needed to fix Joburg roads

R37 billion — that’s how much will be needed to completely fix the streets of Johannesburg.

That’s according to the city’s Transport MMC Kenny Kunene.

Motorists are demanding that the metro promise less – and do more to fix the road infrastructure.

Kunene and the Johannesburg Road Agency say plans are in place to fix the streets.

A warrant of arrest has been issued for Royal AM FC chairman Andile Mpisane. This comes after he allegedly violated an interim protection order.

Andile allegedly followed and threatened his ex-girlfriend, DJ Sithelo Shozi. The warrant of arrest was issued on Friday, 3 March, and Sithelo went to Durban North police station to hand it over to the police to arrest her ex-boyfriend. Learn More
