President Cyril Ramaphosa says the ANC will be restored into power with a greater majority. He says the tripartite Alliance must be front, back and centre of that goal. Ramaphosa was speaking during a wreath-laying ceremony for the ANC’s late Deputy Secretary General Jessie Duarte.
He says that’s what Duarte would have wanted. Ramphosa said, “she continues to be a strong pillar of the alliance. She would have been in the forefront of the reconfiguration.
“We must strengthen the alliance as led by the ANC. She would have wanted the ANC leadership to stay rooted in principles. She would have stood for an alliance that is united. She would have insisted the Alliance act as one.” As we go towards the 2024 election we must ensure the ANC is brought back much stronger with a greater majority.
