Introduction

Our client is in the engineering industry based in Sandton and they are looking for an Operations Web Services JavaScript Engineer to be responsible for the system administration and technical support of all OSS platforms.

Duties & Responsibilities

Confirm project requirement by reviewing program objective, input data, and output requirements with analyst, supervisor and client.
Arrange project requirements in programming sequence by analyzing requirements, preparing a work flow chart and diagram using knowledge of computer capabilities, subject matter, programming language and logic.
Encode project requirements by converting work flow information into computer language.
Confirm program operation by conducting tests.
Ensures operation of equipment by following manufacturer’s instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions, calling for repairs, evaluating new equipment and techniques.

Desired Experience & Qualification:

Matric.
Bachelor Degree or above in electronic, computer, communications, science and engineering professionals.
Advanced java programming.
Advanced SQL.
Advanced javascript programming.
Familiar with the JavaScript framework.
Advance web programming (CSS, html).
SNMP & MIB knowledge.
Mongo dB NoSQL database.
