Supporters call for Jacob Zuma’s release

Jacob Zuma supporters want the former president out of prison now.

Crowds of his supporters blocked entry and exit points in parts of Kwa-Zulu Natal, demanding that he be released.

They are calling on the ANC to listen to the voice of the masses.

The former president handed himself over to the police on Thursday.

The Constitutional Court sentenced Zuma to 15 months in prison for contempt of court after failing to appear before the State Capture Commission of Inquiry.
