Former President Jacob Zuma says the late struggle icon Eric ‘Stalin’ Mtshali worked tirelessly for the unity of the ANC-led alliance.
Zuma was speaking at Mtshali’s special official funeral in Durban.
Mtshali died away at the age of 84 last week Friday after a short illness.
SACP Secretary-General Blade Nzimande described Mtshali as an embodiment of the Alliance.
He used the opportunity to lash out at those who use their struggle credentials for self-enrichment.
