Tshwane taxi driver Jabu Baloyi to be laid to rest
Tshwane taxi driver Jabu Baloyi will be laid to rest on Sunday in Soshanguve.
Baloyi was shot on Tuesday.
He and fellow taxi drivers were allegedly trying to chase drug lords from the Pretoria’s CBD.
It sparked violence on the streets of Sunnyside.
Several stores and buildings owned by foreign-nationals were also set alight.
The provincial transport department says an investigation will be launched into Baloyi’s death.
