Agriprotein Technologies requires a driven, competent, customer-focused individual in the role of IT Support Technician. This individual will be responsible for general maintenance of defined computer equipment and for the resolution of identified technical problems.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Test new software
Make software available where requested
Setup users on domain
Ensure the anti-virus software is installed, kept up to date and working properly
Set up and maintain user e-mail accounts, when requested.
Provide troubleshooting resolution and updating/upgrading of software to customers
Keep a log of all technical faults (Support log)
Liaise with external suppliers for the repair of equipment under warranty or maintenance contract
Network Management
Set up, maintain and remove user network accounts where appropriate
Order office stationery where necessary
Responsible for arranging couriers for any deliveries in the office

Requirements:

A+ & Network + certification.
Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to deal with all levels of people within the Company
Service orientated
Passionate about IT Support and driven to succeed
Making the IT function in the company more efficient.
Be able to work on his/her own initiative
Demonstrate practical knowledge and problem-solving strategies
Keep abreast of new developments in software and hardware
