Is this DJ Fresh’s Replacement?

A couple of weeks ago, Metro FM terminated DJ Fresh’s contract after he was accused of using bad language during one of his segments. According to reports, a disgruntled listener reported the radio legend to the BCCSA which led to the radio legend’s suspension and subsequent dismissal.

Shortly after being fired, there were several rumours about the radio veterans next move. Twitter went crazy after Kaya FM’s, Greg Maloka posted a snap of him and DJ Fresh signing what looks like a contract. Upon seeing the snap, many of his fans assumed that the DJ is joining Kaya FM which resulted in a social media firestorm. The DJ has been mum on his next move, the only thing he has confirmed is that he is embarking on a new project from the 1st of August.

Over at Metro FM, Mo Flava has been filling the DJ’s shoes since his dismissal and according to Sunday Sun, the show might have a new permanent host soon.

According to the publication, a source known to them informed them that Anele Mdoda might be DJ Fresh’s alleged replacement. According to the paper, her name was reportedly raised in a meeting and that the station is allegedly in talks with her. Would you be happy with Anele as the new host of the Fresh Breakfast?
