Internal sales wanted: Salary R12 000 per month

Job Description:

Process invoices on Pastel Accounting
Understand and complete management instructions
Complete order advises
Correspond with customers both by e-mail and verbally
Forward Pro-Forma invoices, follow up on payments and matching of payments
Follow up on POD’s (Proof of Deliveries)
Match POD’s to invoices and ensure that the goods were received by the customer
Manage and process credit notes
Manage call-off orders against contracts
Work closely with stock controller and obtain transport rates, where 3rd party transporters are used
Filing and manage all orders (Future/Current or Back Orders)
Establish & follow up of sales leads
Admin back-up for external Sales Executives
Update customer quotations
Process copy invoices on internal computer system (Filemaker Pro)

Skills required:

Exceptional communication skills, verbal and written
Fully conversant in English & Afrikaans
Ability to plan, organise and coordinate efficiently
Ability to pay attention to detail and high accuracy
Excellent People skills and a sense of humour
Computer Literate (Mac)
The ability to maintain effectiveness under pressure is important
Emotional intelligent
Valid code 8 drivers license
Dedicated and punctual
A basic understanding of accounting, i.e. debits & credits

Minimum Requirements:

Grade 12 with three to four year experience in internal sales.
