Instead of the regular fudge try this Double Chocolate Lemon Fudge

Why not combine all the favourite flavours together in this incredible lemon fudge recipe. It may seem a little controversial, but these ingredients mixed together actually make an unexpectedly smooth and mouth watering combination.

As we have said before, chocolate really goes with almost everything and this fudge is no different. For an ultimate decadent treat this lemon fudge dipped in double chocolate is absolutely worth the time and effort.

So let’s get baking, in just over an hour we could be sitting back and indulging in these tasty treats!

INGREDIENTS
250 ml sugar

250 ml butter

10 ml vanilla essence

1 tin condensed milk

1 cup white chocolate chips

1/4 cup fine lemon zest

1/4 cup lemon juice

Topping:

1 cup dark chocolate chips

1/2 cup cream

white chocolate shavings

METHOD
1.In a sauce pan, add the condensed milk, butter, milk, sugar and vanilla. Stir for 50 minutes over medium heat until the color changes. The fudge will form a ball. 2.Remove from the heat. add the white chocolate, lemon zest and juice. Mix quickly before it solidifies.
Pour the fudge into a greased baking tray.
Topping:
In a double boiler, melt the dark chocolate and cream.
Pour over the fudge. Garnish with white chocolate shavings.
