
A man, Ilan van Staden, shared then-and-now photos of himself with his brother, Moses Mthembo. Ilan revealed that although he and Moses do not share the same parents, they grew up together in the same house. Ilan shared a photo of himself with Moses when they were kids next to one now that they are grown up. Ilan originally wrote the post in 2019 but he shared it again on the #ImStaying group on Monday.
The post was captioned:
“Our turn. This is my brother Moses and I. Not blood brothers, but heart brothers. We grew up under the same roof and we are still best friends since day one!

“We are the generation that can change mindsets and the future by simply being an example and loving one another. We are praying for this country and encourage you to do the same.”

The post gathered over 26 000 reactions and South Africans’ hearts were touched by the bond between Ilan and Moses.
