Our client in the agricultural industry requires the service of an HR Practitioner who will be responsible for providing an efficient human resource service by implementing, maintaining and advising on all relevant HR policies, procedures, and practices within the framework of the company’s Group HR strategy and operational requirements.
Key performance areas:
Coordinate, maintain and monitor the operational units’ industrial relations and disciplinary/grievance policies and procedures (within a unionized environment)
Recruitment, selection, and on-boarding of employees
Assist with and coordinate relevant training & development initiatives
Provide advice and support on all HR policy & procedure implementation
Plan, organize and maintain all relevant legislative requirements as it relates to skills development and employment equity
HR administration, analysis, and reporting
The successful candidate must have:
Matric with a Human Resources Degree / Diploma
3 – 5 years’ experience within an unionized operational/production environment
Results-driven and an innovative approach
Analytical problem-solving approach
Excellent computer literacy
Must have excellent communication skills (written & verbal)
Must have valid driver’s license and own transport
