Our client is looking for an HR Manager who specialises in BEE, Skills Development and Employment Equity.

What’s the role?

You will be responsible for:

Manage and facilitate the Employment Equity Department as well as doing Employment Equity training
Employment Equity – Established and train Regional EE Committees, Compile and submit regional analysis and plans to the National Committee / Senior Employment Equity Manager for sign off
EE, BEE and Skills Development consulting
Labour Relations Policy formulation and consultation
File compilation and assisting clients through the BEE verification process
File compilation and assisting clients through the EE substantial audit process
Compiling and conducting presentations
Ensuring company policies are in line with regulatory requirements.
Updating and issuing employment contracts
Labour Relations and Disciplinary process
The recruitment of employees
The design, development, implementation, updating and maintaining of b
est HR practices, including policies, procedures, job profiles and KPI’s
Identifying organisational changes and developing appropriate HR solutions to improve the organisation
Identifying HR risk and advise on possible actions and solutions to mitigate risks.
Acting as advisor to management teams, give guidance on disciplinary process, performance management, grievances and general people practices.
You will be responsible for measuring employee satisfaction and identify areas that require improvement.
Managing conflict and all relevant employee relations
Performance management and employee development
Doing any HR tasks for the HR Manager

Candidate Requirements

Boxes to tick…

Tertiary Education in Human Resources Management
Working knowledge of SA legislation: BEE; SDA; EEA; BCEA; LRA.
More than 3 years’ experience in an HR environment
Proficient in MS Office (intermediate level)
Knowledge and experience of computerised HR and time and attendance systems
CCMA representation up to arbitration level – advantageous
Sage VIP Experience
