We are looking for an experienced HR Generalist to strengthen our existing Talent team.

You will provide HR advice and support to the iKhokha tribe. You will need to be proactive, able to perform a wide variety of /tasks and be passionate about adding value to your business partners. You will join our rapidly growing and successful company, in a fast-paced role and exciting environment.

So what will you do?

You will provide operational HR support to the line managers and the employees.

You will advise on, facilitate and execute the applicable IR/ER practices and procedures relating to coaching, counselling, disciplinary cases, grievances, conflict and dispute resolution.

You will work closely with the iKhokha business to create an environment where people can do their best work.

Relevant HR-related Degree / Diploma

3+ year’s generalist HR experience

Ability to develop strong relationships and influence a wide range of stakeholders within the organization.

Knowledge of HR legislated laws (BCEA, LRA, EE, OHASA) and how these are applied.

Experience with IR document preparation.

Proactive, data-driven, use initiative, able to multi-task and prioritize, without close supervision.

Flexible and able to cope well with change.

So what will you do?

Provide expert HR advice, guidance and coaching to managers and employees in all aspects of HR.

Be proactive in identifying people issues and trends within the business and work together with your key stakeholders in order to formulate and implement solutions.

Implement employee assistance programmes, and regularly reviewing HR/ER policies in order to meet changing business needs.

Handle operational issues such as absence and performance management and work with your key stakeholders to resolve these issues.

Keep up to date with legal requirements that impact the business (BCEA, LRA, etc.)

Scheduling of Disciplinary Enquiries.

Represent the Company at the CCMA or council if required.

Provide professional, written and oral, legal advice to the business on reasonably complex legal issues (e.g. disciplinary, organizational changes, employment legislation, internal documents, etc).

Implementation of new requirements by law (e.g. working hours, overtime, probation periods, etc). Apply Now
