South African media personality Ntando Rambani has finally opened up about her journey to forever with husband Unarine Rambani, popularly known as musician Una Rams. In a candid conversation on The L-Tido Podcast, she revealed how they met, how their relationship blossomed, and why they have chosen to guard their most intimate moments from the public eye.
The couple’s love story began two years ago on September 16 in Venda. Ntando was billed to perform at a show, scheduled for 9 p.m., but due to delays, she only went on stage around 3 a.m. What could have been a frustrating moment turned out to be serendipitous.
“God’s timing is the right timing,” Ntando reflected, suggesting that the delay played a role in aligning her path with Una’s.
Una, who had attended the event with a friend, approached Ntando and her sister, Thando Duma, after her performance. Though he already knew Thando from Twitter, his real attention was on Ntando. She remembers being struck not just by his presence but by his aura and humility.
“He’s a very calculated man with calculative moves,” Ntando explained, recalling how she admired him even before she knew him personally.
Ntando Rambani and Una Rams: A Love Story Rooted in Timing, Privacy, and Faith
Later that night, while Ntando and her sister waited for transport, Una returned with his brother and asked for a photo. At first, it seemed like a casual moment, but Ntando later discovered it was all part of his thoughtful approach. After tagging her in the photo, Una slid into her direct messages with a confident but respectful invitation:
“I wasn’t lying about taking you out for a date when you’re back in Jo’burg. If you’re keen, let’s do it.”
Ntando Rambani, however, did not respond immediately. At the time, she admitted she had grown tired of men and relationships, and her interest in dating was low. It took her two days to reply, and even then, she was cautious.
According to Ntando Rambani, Una was certain early on that she was the woman he wanted to marry. Just two months into their relationship, he told her he was going to make her his wife. True to his word, six months later he sent a lobola letter to her family. By 2024, the two had tied the knot in a private ceremony that was only later revealed on the cover of Previdar Weddings magazine.
Their decision to keep the wedding under wraps was intentional. For Ntando and Una, privacy is not just a choice but a strategy for protecting their peace.
In August 2025, the Rambanis shared another milestone with fans when they appeared on the cover of Batswadi magazine alongside Ntando’s first daughter, Sbahle Mzizi—whom she shares with musician Junior De Rocker—and the couple’s newborn baby girl.
Ntando Rambani recalled how she discovered her pregnancy through morning sickness and unusual cravings, while Una confessed that balancing the excitement of fatherhood with wedding preparations was overwhelming at times.
The couple made the deliberate decision to keep the pregnancy private, a choice that fueled public speculation. Some fans even questioned whether Ntando Rambani had used a surrogate. Addressing the rumours, Ntando Rambani expressed frustration at the assumptions:
“Because you didn’t see me pregnant, then it’s not my child? Like, what do you mean?” she said on the podcast.
She went on to explain that shielding their marriage and pregnancy from the spotlight was an intentional act of self-preservation. “We have little to ourselves, so it’s really important for us to know what is ours and what not to put out there. We really just wanted this moment to ourselves.”
For Ntando Rambani and Una, their love story has been as much about faith and destiny as it has been about strategy and boundaries. By choosing to keep their relationship milestones—whether weddings, pregnancies, or family moments—private, they have carved out a sacred space within the chaos of fame.
Their journey shows that while public figures often live under constant scrutiny, it is possible to build a love story grounded in authenticity, faith, and respect. For Ntando, what started as a delayed performance in Venda turned into the performance of a lifetime: finding a partner who knew from the beginning that she was the one.
As they continue to balance careers, marriage, and parenting, one thing is clear—the Rambanis have found not just love but also a blueprint for protecting it.
