My client is seeking to employ a Housekeper / Domestic Aid for their busy household in Hoedspruit . This is envisaged as a long term perminent position for the successful

Remuneration Structure

Salary : R 8000 – R10 000 per month Negotiable
New single status accommodation provided ( candidate must live onsite)

Requirements

Grade 12 Matric – or equivilent – minimum
Drivers Licence – clean driving record essential
Strong command of English Language
Tertiary diploma / certified hospitality studies – preferable advantage
Experience as a Housekeeper or similar role in the hospitality industry – advantage
Experience as a Aupair / Child care specialist – preferable advantage
Experience as a Housekeeper / Domestic worker / cleaner – essential
Basic Knowledge of household appliances and workability – necessary essential
Strong multi-tasking skills
Excellent organizational skills
Ability to adapt to a fluid environment
Commitment to a high level of service
Strict attention to detail
Knowledge of local area restaurants, entertainment and other attractions
Ability to handle sensitive matters with efficiency and discretion
Knowledge of food preperation will be a great plus
Candidate should currently reside in the Hoedspruit area / surrounds or be prepared to move to Hoedspruit on a perminent basis.
Duties and Responsibilities

Full spectrum of household Cleaning operations , Deep cleaning and Laundry and ironing services for a large busy household – daily.
Aupair Responsibilities :
transporting of 2 young teenagers to school daily as well as to sporting activities etc
looking after 2 teenagers when parents are away
Daily / Weekly shopping for the Household as required
Serve meals and pour drinks for guests as required from time to time
Communicate with owners to ensure rooms and comunal areas are cleaned at the most convenient time
Run errands for members of the household when necessary
Recommend and arrange amenities for household members
Remain well-groomed at all times
Keep up-to-date on all household secrity policies as well as safety and hygiene
Perform all duties with discretion, professionalism and a pleasant demeanor at all times
