Gauteng: At 18H47 Tuesday evening Netcare 911 responded to a residential fire in Douglasdale Sandton.
Reports indicate that a house had caught alight with occupants still inside.
The City of Johannesburg Fire and Rescue Services managed to douse the fire but unfortunately, most of the house had been destroyed.
An adult male from the house was assessed and found to have sustained minor injuries.
Another adult male.was also found, however, showed no signs of life and was sadly declared deceased on the scene.
Circumstances leading up to the incident will be investigated by the relevant authorities.
