It’s going to be a hot weekend.
The Weather Service says heatwave conditions are expected to last until at least Tuesday.
It expects about a 4-degree drop in Gauteng and Mpumalanga.
“It’s likely to change but maybe the cooling may not be as intense as we’re expecting it to be,” said Mbavhi Maliage.
“But for now when we look at what’s happening on Tuesday and Wednesday, temperatures are expected to drop by at least 4 degrees.
I’m looking mainly at provinces like Gauteng and also Mpumalanga which are the provinces that are having the heatwave extended until Tuesday. ”
