Tshegofatso Pule family and friends hope for justice

Friends and family of the late Tshegofatso Pule gathered outside court this morning.

The trial of her alleged murderer is expected to start on Monday.

They’re hoping that justice will be swift, but have prepared for the worst.

Botlhale Modisane from the Tshegofatso Pule Foundation said, “honestly, it’s a very anxious time for us. Bittersweet, we’re happy that the trial is finally beginning, and equally, so the state has a strong case, we have 16 witnesses going for the case.”

Modisane said she hopes the trial will not be dragged out so Pule’s loved ones can find peace.
