Home Affairs needs 10,000 young graduates to digitise documents dating back to 1895. More than 350m records of births, marriages, and deaths are to be put on a computer.
Successful applicants can earn between R5,000 for entry-level positions, and R14,000 for managerial work.

Ndavi Nokeri was crowned Miss South Africa 2022 at the finale of the pageant held at the SunBet Arena at Time Square, Pretoria, on Saturday 13 August.
This year there are no longer two runners-up but just a top two. So, Miss SA 2022 will compete at all three international pageants. If she is unable to, then the runner-up will take on her role. Ayanda Thabethe, from KwaZulu-Natal was the second runner up. Learn more
