Gauteng: At 12H42 Saturday afternoon, Netcare 911 along with MSAR, SARZA, and the Hekpoort Farm Patrol responded to the Karee Hiking Trail in Rustig in the West Rand.
Reports indicate that an adult female in her thirties was deep on the hiking trail when she lost her footing, injuring her lower limb.
After the briefing, the rescue teams set out on the trail to locate the woman.
She was treated on scene and carried out on a specialized stretcher to an awaiting ambulance.
