Permanent opportunity for an IT Technician with a A+ Certification and minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience within the IT industry. MS Office Certificates and N+ would be advantageous (basic understanding for DHCP & DNS).
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
General IT knowledge
Creation of desktop images and restore
Workstation setup
Attend to technical issues (troubleshooting, installation, service packs, patches, updates and roll-outs of all company applications and others that may arise)
Backup for all general user queries
Telephone setup, troubleshooting and general user queries
Control and expedite computer repairs
Back up for technical helpdesk/support
Queries in call logging system
Video conference connections
Additional duties as required
REQUIREMENTS:
Matric
A+ Certification
Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in the IT industry
MS Office Certificates would be an advantage
N+ an advantage (basic understanding of DHCP & DNS)
Good interpersonal skills
Excellent communication skills
Methodical and patient
Must be able to work independently and as part of a group
Ability to handle confidential information
