Introduction
We have a position available for a Health and Safety officer in the Germiston area with 5 years Health and Safety experience of which 3 years has been in a Senior / Manager role, with exposure within the Construction / Mining field.

Desired Experience & Qualification
Matric
5 years’ experience in Health and Safety of which 3years must be in senior/manager position
Strong administrative skills
Construction/Mining Exposure
Accredited training on OHSA
Fulfilled function as Health and Safety Representative in current role
MS.Excel intermediate level
Clear credit (no blacklisting) and Criminal record
Duties & Responsibilities
Maintain Health & Safety monthly registers
Present and attend Quarterly Committee meetings
Conduct Health & Safety and Security risk assessments
Access control & induction
Training of staff in Health and Safety matters
One direct report
OHS audit results
Group SHEP audit results
Housekeeping
Incidents records

Package & Remuneration
R15 000 – R20 000 CTC including Pension Fund
