Hanekom and Zuma in court to test spy claims

ANC NEC member Derek Hanekom’s defamation case against former President Jacob Zuma is in court on Friday. Zuma accused the former Cabinet minister of being an apartheid spy.

He says the claim is damaging his reputation and will continue to do so if it remains unchallenged. Zuma: Hanekom is a known ‘enemy agent’ He’s suing the former president for R500,000.

Zuma sent out a tweet, saying he wasn’t surprised by claims Hanekom worked with the EFF to oust him. He branded him a known enemy agent. The matter will be heard in the KwaZulu-Natal High Court.
