The Special Tribunal has dismissed an application by Hamilton Ndlovu to stop further legal action against him.
The SIU is trying to recoup R172m from the businessman.
It’s alleged he was fraudulently awarded a tender to supply Personal Protective Equipment.
The SIU and the National Health Laboratory Services were earlier granted an order to freeze his assets, but R50m is still unaccounted for.
The money was drawn from tellers and ATMs in cash.
