They have been compact and restricted Juve to few openings – other than when Khedira hit the post while free eight yards out – and in possession, they have been patient and progressive, without really threatening to score. Sanchez has been particularly bright.
A Ronaldo drive from way out takes a deflection on its way wide. Dybala’s corner provokes a moment of panic in the United box but Smalling eventually clears.
Ronaldo bedazzles Shaw with a flash of trickery, and all Shaw can do is push him off the ball. Freekick to Juve, wide on the left. Dybala delivers it into the six-yard box. Lindelof scrambles it out for a corner. Smalling clears that.
