Cinemas, hair salons, casinos & others to reopen, says Ramaphosa

President Cyril Ramaphosa on Wednesday evening announced that additional economic sectors would now be allowed to reopen under level 3 of the national lockdown.
Ramaphosa is currently addressing the nation on developments in the country’s risk-adjusted strategy to manage the spread of COVID-19.
His address follows a number of meetings of the Cabinet, the national coronavirus command Council, and the presidential coordinating council.
The industries affected would include the personal care services – which included hair salons – restaurants for sit-down meals, and conference for work purposes.
The sectors would be allowed to operate under strict measures to ensure physical distancing and personal hygiene, Ramaphosa said.
