EFF candidate gunned down in KZN
Police are investigating the killing of an EFF councillor candidate in Pietermaritzburg.
Thulani Shangase was on his way home from an election campaign meeting when he was shot.
He was the candidate for Ward 20 in the Msunduzi Municipality.
Police say the motive for the killing is unknown.
