Three people have been arrested for the birthday party mass shooting in Cape Town.
One woman died and seven others – including a five-year-old – were wounded in the Saturday incident in Mitchells Plain.
Police confirmed that resources were deployed to the area.
Gang-related violence is believed to be the cause of the shooting.
