Job Purpose:
An accomplished designer with the ability and initiative to control briefs and develop the creative execution with a solid understanding of all aspects of the design process €“ from concept through to final artwork.

Education:
A degree in Visual Communication / Graphic Design with a strong design portfolio to boot.
Functional Competencies:
A positive attitude and driven designer who is committed, focused and hard working
A passion for design /creativity
Mature individual with the ability to keep calm while working under pressure
An open and flexible approach, able to work on your own initiative as well as part of the wider team
Good interpersonal skills.

Work Experience:

At least 3+ years€™ experience within a Design capacity gained in house or within an agency
Fully proficient in Adobe Creative Suite [Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign] A creative thinker, excellent at idea generation and visualisation
Ability to verbally and visually communicate effectively
An eye for detail and a methodical organised way of working even when multi-tasking
Motivated and proactive
Team Player
A good understanding of the print process and setting up artwork correctly for print.
Candidate Requirements

Key Performance Area:

Responding creatively to briefs.
Producing concepts from ideas to highly finished visuals (including research into the relevant areas) Involvement in the full concept process, from the prototype stages through to production.
Preparing and presenting draft designs to senior management team for approval. Managing the feedback and changes received with a good level of communication and efficiency.
Proactive ownership of the artwork generation [taking brand guidelines into consideration] whilst adhering to agreed timelines.
Ensure work is efficiently provided to schedule and within the set deadlines. Ability to react timeously and efficiently to last minute briefs within tight deadlines.
Multitasking numerous creative executions effectively.
Generate a range of creative outputs ranging from brochures, fact sheets, promotional material, newsletters, posters, emailers and presentations to website material and social media.
Liaising with internal and external stakeholders as necessary to ensure all required inputs are delivered
Working closely with the appointed brand agency to interpret campaign work.

Working Conditions:
08:00 – 17:00 Monday to Friday

Might be required to work some Saturdays (Open days) or evenings (Career Expo etc)
