DRC on high Ebola alert in Goma

Authorities in the DRC remain on high-alert after several people contracted Ebola, from a gold miner in Goma.

Meanwhile, the World Health Organisation says it’s vaccinated over a thousand Congolese, who’ve been exposed to the virus.

No new cases have been confirmed since the miner’s death.

The year-long outbreak in the eastern DRC has killed nearly 2 000 people to date.
