Golden Arrow Bus Services beefs up security
Golden Arrow Bus Services is using high-tech equipment and top-notch security measures to try and bring bus robberies to a halt.
There have been at least six robberies on buses every week since the start of the year in different parts of Cape Town but collaborative efforts by police and Golden Arrow are starting to pay off with five suspects arrested this past week.
Safety features are being rolled out on some buses, to see which solutions work best, before it’s implemented on a wider scale. The announcement of a dedicated bus enforcement unit will also be made soon.
