Legendary SA photographer David Goldblatt dies

Legendary South African photographer David Goldblatt has died aged 87.

Goldblatt is best known for his portrayal of South Africa during the period of apartheid and more recently the country’s landscapes.

His work is held in major museum collections worldwide.

He is survived by his wife Lily, three children and two grandchildren.
