Sentencing for Glebelands hitmen to begin

Sentencing proceedings for the infamous Glebelands eight are finally set to begin.
The hitmen were convicted in 2022 for various offenses related to the murders and attempted murders that took place at the Glebelands hostel in Umlazi between August 2014 and March 2016.
One of the convicted is a former police officer, Bhekukwazi Mdweshu.
Over 100 witnesses were scheduled to testify.
